Complications of Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic arthritis is not a serious type of Psoriasis but the complications may occur during,
• Joint deformity and destruction, commonly in the small joints of the feet and hands.
• People suffering from psoriatic arthritis may have a higher risk for respiratory illnesses.
Complications of Guttate Psoriasis
• pain
• severe itching
• complications secondary to treatments
• secondary skin infections
Complications of Erythrodermic and Pustular Psoriasis
Erythrodermic psoriasis covers the entire skin, which can cause abnormalities regulation of the body temperature. Mixture of Erythrodermic and Pustular psoriasis causes a serious situation called Zumbusch psoriasis; in this Patients will develop excessive fluid build-up, protein loss, and electrolyte imbalances. This can be life threatening. |
